An Open Letter To Cossy Orjiakor And Tonto Dikeh

The unscrupulous lifestyles of Igbo Nollywood Actresses, Cossy Orjiakor and Tonto Dikeh are just becoming too unbearable.

This duo has ignorantly and intentionally refused to stop their no-longer interesting/entertaining lifestyles that are now tarnishing the image of the Igbo female group as a whole.
It is so disheartening how Cossy has continued to tarnish the image of our Igbo sisters through her dirty lifestyles that now give all Nigerians the impression that Igbo ladies are all prostitutes using their bodies to climb to the ladder of fame in all works of life, whereas in reality, it is not true, rather it is being practiced by few unscrupulous Igbo girls who have nothing else to offer to the Nigerian society aside exposing their God-given feminine physique in sexual-appealing manner to gain popularity, and by giving out their supposed holy-bodies to men (married and single) so long as he can pay the price.
Please Cossy and Tonto, Nigerians and most importantly, Ndigbo are no longer finding your ugly, dirty lifestyles funny, please you girls should turn a new leaf this new year and embrace God in your lives for your own good.
You two maybe thinking that you are on top of the game, but you are only causing yourselves more harm than good, and if you ladies refuse to change for better, you will surely reap a negative fruit in future to come.
Finally, I am using this medium with other mediums to follow, to call on the Ohanaeze Ndigbo society to please write personally to Cossy Orjiakor and Tonto Dikeh to change their lifestyles as soon as possible, and if they fail or pay deaf ear, then the Ohanaeze Ndigbo should write to NOLLYWOOD, PMAN, Nigeria Censorship Agency, and every other entertainment industry in Nigeria through the major national dailies in Nigeria, to ban them from participating in Nigerian entertainment industries of any kind.
This is so sad because they are no longer entertaining Nigerians but rather teaching the upcoming Nigeria youths bad moral conducts.
Just see the unimaginable picture an African woman of Igbo origin posted publicly online in the name of entertaining her so-called fans. Yes, such rubbish can be done in the west, this is Africa, Nigeria and this also goes beyond to tarnishing the name of Igbo tribe. Spread this message as fast as you can. Thanks.

Why MayD Left Square Records" - Jude Okoye Opens Up

When MayD quit Square Records last year, the exact reason for the action was not disclosed, and it left fans jumping to varying conclusions.
The duo, Peter and Paul Okoye, refused to say a word about 'the Split', so did MayD, whose role in the duo’s "Chop My Money" earned him a feat in the music industry.
In this video released online a few hours ago, Jude "Engees" Okoye, brother and manager of P-Square, discloses why MayD had to quit Square Records. The Square Records boss says: "We sign in artistes as our way of giving back to the society, and by the time they become known, we let them be. However, when MayD came in, he wanted more than that. He wanted to be P-Square, a name that we have struggled to be build for years…"

More Troubles For D'Banj As Kanye West Set To Drop Him From G.O.O.D Music

It is now being speculated within the music industry in hush tones that D’Banj may been shown the exit door at Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label which D’Banj claims he is still at.

According to information gathered from reports and some industry sources, all may not be too well between D’Banj and his American boss.
What Nigeriafilms.com scooped reveals that Kanye was never happy with the split between D’Banj and Don Jazzy in early 2012.
We gathered that Kanye actually signed Don Jazzy to produce D’Banj for his record label, but with the split between them, it was no longer possible for Don Jazzy to perform his obligation of making ‘good’ beats for D’Banj.
Now that D’Banj took a step further to sign J-Sleek as his music producer, what sources in D’Banj’s camp reveal to industry sources is that Kanye is not pleased with J-Sleek’s production prowess and he sees D’Banj’s new collection of songs as weak.
What some tale-bearers are saying now is that Kanye is disappointed at D’Banj as his (Kanye)initial quest of storming African music through the duo of former Mohits Records has been defeated and D’Banj’s new singles are no where match what convinced him to sign on the two African superstars when he signed them in 2011.
There are indications that D’Banj may consider reconciling with Don Jazzy or lose his deal with Kanye.
Though we couldn’t confirm if D’Banj would consider the first option as we were told that his (D’Banj) ego might be a big obstacle is making the first option become a reality.

Music Is My Life, I Can’t Stop Making Music – Wizkid

Few years ago, Ayo “Wizkid” Balogun was just another young Nigerian student trying to make a head way in the four walls of a classroom at Lead University, Ibadan. Fast forward a few years and today, he is not only a superstar but making in-roads in the Nigerian music industry where he is the
rave of the moment.Despite the acclaimed fame, fortune and elevated societal status music has brought him, Wizkid does not underestimate the importance of education.“I don’t regret stopping school for a bit because it did give me all the time to push and work on my music. I’mdefinitely going back to school.Education is very necessary and I hold itin high esteem.’’Like a fortune teller who could predict the future, Wizkid confesses that he foresaw his success as a singer.“Yes I had hoped and dreamt for all this, but I didn’t expect it would happen this fast. I am 22 and I owe all my achievements to God. Yes I am oftentimes overwhelmed by all I have achieved at my age and I stay grateful because it keeps me going.’’When he launched his debut album in front of a capacity-filled hall at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, in August last year the young singer, fondly called Wizzy, made history by becoming the youngest Nigerian artiste to attract such a crowd to an album launch. That moment he says, remains a career moment.“I am always humbled and excited to perform with artistes I grew up listening to.I am constantly overwhelmed.“Performing at the HMV Apollo was an amazing experience for me. Winning a MOBO, BET, Channel O award and the MTV Europe nomination have definitel been high points.’’While he held sway, all eyes were on him but the arrival of an equally younger and enertainment savvy singer, David“Davido” Adeleke changed the status quo. They are often compared and the rumour mills doesn’t stop spinning news about their perceived ‘beef.’ But once more, Wizkid says, it is ‘mere rumours’ as he sees Davido as a contemporary not a threat. He says, “all the stories of beef and quarell between both of us are mere rumours. Davido is my friend and I respect him.I don’t consider him a threat. We both make good music that people love.’’Not forgetting his humble beginnings and those who have paved the way for his growth musically, he says, “I am thankful for where I am today and I’m excited about what’s coming next for me. I respect and look up to my bros, Banky W, D’Banj and 2face.” Wizkid no doubt, has a bright future and will not be quitting music anytime soon.“Music is my life, I can’t stop making music but if I wasn’t, maybe I’d be a football player.’’Wizkid will not stop at being just a raveof the moment, he wants to be remembered “as a man who never gaveup on his dreams and succeeded at everything he worked hard to accomplish.”
