Davido is a very lively kid by nature, full of energy and has everything it takes to make it big as an artist. He’s a producer, and has been since 2008 to my knowledge. I personally received emails from Davido years ago telling me hes only 16 and producing and to listen to his stuff etc and I was definitely impressed. He was working with another artist who’s an old friend NPZ at the time and I always knew he had love for music. I never really knew him that well apart from running into him a few times at Queens in Atlanta but seeing what he’s doing now is making me nothing but proud of this talent. To all those who think it’s hard to make it in the industry it wont be hard if you’re truly talented and come across the right people along the way. In Davido’scase one of these people he came across was Asa Asika. Asa is another friend who I met a while back with Osagie (Wizkid, Banky W & Skales manager) and I’m very sure he learnt a lot from her and his management period at Storm. Now, Davido with Asa as his manager and a 247 dedicated team are taking the country by storm. Trust me Davido will be around for a loooong time and his best is yet to come. He has the energy of D’Banj with the youth of Wizkid with the razzness of Sina Peters with the swag of Travis Porter.Trust me this dude is a full-on ATL yankee boy, so dont believe the razzness, but it’s definitely a crucial part of his whole package. Will be looking forward to more work coming from Davido and a tight album hopefully next year.
