The Next Rated Nigerian Teen Pop Sensation? Listen To Korede Bello – 4eva
Singer/songwriter Korede Bello
is about four years old now, being that he was born today, 29th of
February. Ironically, the now sixteen year old artist has a soft,
youthful, slightly high-pitched voice that I’m sure will melt the
ladies’ hearts.
On “4eva”, the Double
Dice Records’ artist expresses his love for a certain someone with an
avid array of wordplay that is not only interesting and entertaining,
but cute. I believe there’s a lot in store for this artist’s career. Enjoy!

M.A.K – They Know Me (new)
M.A.K (real name Femi Makinwa) is an up-and-coming singer/raper in the music industry. And, he’s ready to take a top spot by force. With his debut single “Ja Lo Koro” last year, he made enough waves to get calls from the likes of Ex-O and M.I for features.
Now, he’s brought a follow up single “They Know Me” which was produced by E Kelly, expressing his versatility as an artist. So, look out for the Unilag undergraduate on Ex-O‘s “Hip Hop Speaks” album on the track “The Coalition” as well as on M.I‘s “Illegal Music II” mixtape on the track “Eyes”. But for now, here’s “They Know Me”. Enjoy!

DownloadZaina’s Spanking New Single “Carry Me Go”
Zaina is an up-coming artist in the music industry. She’s an actress, model and singer/songwriter bursting full of talent.
On her new single “Carry Me Go”, Zaina is
so overcome with emotions and unrestrained desire that she could find
no other way to describe her feelings, her love, but as juju. The song
was produced by Del B.
So, as she can act, sing and is
aesthetically pleasing to the eye, I can only imagine what the music
video for this song will be like, can’t wait. Enjoy!

Listen to Hoodbilli – Go Down Low
Hoodbilli‘s new single “Go down low”
is definitely for the clubs. It would have you up on your feet and from
the video you can see how the song roused and riled the crowd into
action. Enjoy!

Hoodbilli is a Nigerian
rapper presently schooling in the US. With his flair for music, he got
himself into the music industry in 2008 and has been since trying to
prove his worth as a versatile artist.
He was worked with the likes of SauceKid, Meaku, CapB and Iceberg Slim and
so far, has proven his hustle has no bounds as he does graphic designs
as well as also directs, shoots & edits music videos.
Korkormikor – Blowing Up My Control
By any standards, Korkormikor is no newbie in the industry and has dropped several singles which have become popular in his locale, Port Harcourt.
Now, in a bid to crossover to the more mainstream market like his fellow “out-of-Port-Harcourt” counterparts, Duncan Mighty and Timaya, the Xcel Music ensign toned down his familiar hard edge on this new single “Blowing Up My Control”.
“Blowing Up My Control” is
a laid-back tune which talks about a relationship that doesn’t quite
pan out the way the artist intended; like a one-time liaison gone wrong.

Now Playing: Nonny D – Off The Ground
“Off The Ground” is one of those new school songs that have been classified as Electro-Gbedu, as it mixes elements of electro, house, trance and dance music with our typical Nigerian heavy bass line sound. Nonny D, who is on the Blue Sky Entertainment label, successfully vocalizes on the party track, crooning to a girl that “makes him feel higher off the ground”. Enjoy!

Who Is… E.L
If you know the smash hit single “You Go Kill Me” by Sarkodie, then you know E.L
because he was featured on the track. And, just as that song took
Azonto across Ghana’s borders, it also brought to our notice this rising
shining star, E.L.
E.L (real name Elorm Adablah) is an enterprising young music icon hailing from Ghana who has performed and/or worked with the likes of Sarkodie, J. Martins, 9ice, Fabulous, Tinny, VIP, M.anifest, C-real, J-Town and Rick Ross. And, is the only young and upcoming Ghanaian artiste who has performed on many platforms without an album on the market.
Like most shining stars, he discovered his talent early in life. He later developed his singing skills with a group called Skillions during his Secondary School days at PRESEC, Legon. Knowing very well that it takes a mature and enlightened mind for one to become a great star, E.L has taken his education seriously to meet the challenges ahead of him. E.L has been working hard behind the scenes in Ghana, sharpening his voice and composition skills and working on collaborations. He is sure to make a mark on the entertainment scene, not just in his homeland, Ghana, but on a worldwide scale.
E.L is part of the new school of Ghanaian artists that have successfully revamped their music industry and carried their music outside of Ghana. E.L dropped his debut single “Why” in 2009 and has been on the climb ever since. In 2011, he released “The Project Hiphop” mixtape with C-Real, which features hit single “Weytin de Happen”. Currently, his hit singles “One Ghana For Your Pocket” & “Obuu Mo’” are receiving airplay on the radio and in the club in and outside of Ghana.

Yung EL - Red Rose {Freestyle}
You may not know the name of the track trailer you hear – Yung L –
one of the Grip Boys stands on a song alone and dominates the beat.
“From the window to the wall, me a tap her easy like ball…” are
everyone’s favourite lyrics in Iceprince’s Magician. Yung L has been
singing for a while now, top artist in Jos, he recently moved to Lagos
to pursue his passion for music. He manages to seduce new listeners to
his lyrical play on words. He even manages to play with his lips at the
end of this song, when you hear the flute, he is actually blowing
through his lips. Popular for being one of Iceprince’s bredren – the mob
you see come through clubs – Yung L is a dynamic singer, with a new
take on the Nigerian/African sound. The mix of Chopstix ondeck, and
Yung L on the vocals and “flute” is really a smooth sexy international
sound that still has the Naija vibe. Grip Music really is sweet
music…Enjoy Red Rose, a befitting introduction of a fresh young artist
into the industry!
